Using Veritas with a group

Veritas has no class or teacher accounts: each student uses it on their own phone. That also means no student data is collected or shared with anyone. Here are some ways to use it with a group.

A lesson starter

Put up the Topic of the Day and ask students to argue each side in pairs, then compare with the model answers in the app.

Before the lesson

Ask students to read the Learn topic you are about to teach, including its three-point summary, and to try its practice questions.

Quick checks

Students can take a timed test on an area of law: 20 questions in 15 minutes, with their answers reviewed at the end.

Exam preparation

Work through the exam technique guides together, then have students try a problem question and mark it against the checklist.

Debating clubs

Use the debating skills topics to teach structure, rebuttal and points of information, and the motions in Debate for practice rounds.

Veritas explains the law of England and Wales for study. It is not legal advice, and it is not affiliated with any exam board.
